Buset LLP is pleased to announce that Rosalyn Skiffington has joined the firm as an associate
Rosalyn joins Buset LLP following her call to the Ontario bar in October 2023. She was previously with the firm in 2022 as a summer student and then as a placement student.
Rosalyn returned home to Thunder Bay for law school from Ottawa, where she obtained bachelor’s and master’s degrees in mechanical engineering from the University of Ottawa. She obtained her juris doctor degree from Lakehead University’s Bora Laskin Faculty of Law with a specialization in Aboriginal and Indigenous Law. During her time in law school, Rosalyn participated in advocacy competitions and served as a director of the Law Students’ Society.
Rosalyn is excited to be practicing in Northwestern Ontario in construction litigation and insurance defence, as well as general litigation. She looks forward to bringing a fresh perspective to Buset LLP.
