Rob began his career with Buset LLP as a summer student and subsequently completed his articles with the firm. Following his call to the Ontario Bar in May 2021, he joined Buset LLP as an Associate Lawyer. In January 2026, Rob joined the partnership.

Rob graduated in 2020 from a dual-degree program, earning his Juris Doctor from Western University’s Faculty of Law alongside an Honours Business Administration from the Richard Ivey School of Business.

After completing his education in southern Ontario, Rob returned home to Thunder Bay to pursue his legal career. With a business background and deep roots in the community, he understands the unique legal and practical challenges faced by local businesses and individuals.

Rob’s practice focuses primarily on Corporate and Business Law, Real Estate, Wills and Estate Planning and Tax Law, though he is pleased to assist clients with a wide range of legal matters.

Outside of his practice, Rob enjoys playing golf and hockey, spending time at camp with family and friends and cheering for the Toronto Maple Leafs.
