Born and raised in a small town in southern Ontario, Dawson moved to attend law school at the Bora Laskin Faculty of Law, and now proudly calls Thunder Bay her home.  Dawson joined the firm as a summer student and completed her practice placement with Buset LLP. Dawson joins the firm as an associate after being called to the bar in 2024.

Dawson holds an Honours Bachelor of Arts from Carleton University where she majored in Law and Minored in Business. During law school, she excelled both academically and in her dedication to the faculty. Upon graduation from the Bora Laskin Faculty of Law Dawson was awarded the President’s Award for her significant contributions to the Faculty of Law.

Dawson will be taking on a diverse practice at our office including family law, estate litigation, civil litigation, and insurance defence. Outside of her practice, Dawson enjoys running, spending time outdoors, reading, watching reality TV (Survivor) and hanging out with her friends and family.
